For centuries women have been encouraged to stay in fear, confused and out of balance with their sexuality so that they would not understand the power of their “sexual” energy. Even today in our “modern” society male sexual desire is usually seen as good and beneficial while female sexual desire is often seen as bad and harmful. Religious teachings frequently label sexual women as sinners and witches. How a woman perceives her sexual desire is also determined and controlled by the society she lives in if she seeks acceptance within that society. There have always been those who defied society and religious teaching at the cost of being called "sluts" and "whores." This forces most women to deny and suppress their true sexual desire and identity to be accepted by their peers. Women are taught that "Good girls" simply were not sexual. These teachings go against the physical and spiritual nature of the human body and keep you from understanding the true spiritual nature of the arousing sexual energy that you have the “God given” natural ability to produce.

For almost two thousand years these religious teachings have kept most women out of balance and in fear of their sexuality. This forced denial of your sexual self has created the internal confusion of your Life Force Energy and your clear external connection to the infinite flow of this CREATIVE energy disrupted. I created this pastel to help me to love myself - the woman in me. To embrace my feminine... to embrace the devine feminine in everyone. It is now time for me to share all of the images and artwork that I created to help my own private transformation. I will also share my own thoughts and ideas about the sensual creative life force energy that we can all create and connect to not only for our own growth and healing but for the good of everyone and everything.

My Erotic Vision
